Benjamin Keen is a data scientist that has worked at Hitachi Consulting for 2.5 years with a focus on the energy and utilities industries. Prior to joining Hitachi Consulting Benjamin completed a PhD, researching Molecular Genetics at the Genome Damage and Stability Centre.

During his time at Hitachi Consulting, Benjamin has contributed to a range of data science projects. These include a platform providing more intelligent energy trading, generation and storage strategies in response to the volatile prices brought about by renewable energies, predictive maintenance of waste water pumps to help prevent pollution incidents, and modelling the effects of the socialised benefit of renewable energies for local councils.
