Burnout: A personal journey to the bottom and back up again
The IT industry can be a brutal place to work. From poor work-life balance and punishing targets to fractured teams and bad management, just navigating a working day can be exhausting.
In this session I'll talk through my experience of burnout; how it happened, and how I recovered my health and my career. Along the way I'll point out the warning signals that you can spot in yourself and in others, and give you some ideas of how to help prevent it, minimise it, or recover from it.
