Jen McCown is a Microsoft Certified Master in SQL Server, and co-owner of MidnightSQL Consulting, LLC and MinionWare, LLC. She produces IT training material for MidnightDBA.com, including training videos, the DBAs@Midnight webshow, blogs, reviews, and podcasts.

In her consulting work, she specialized in performance tuning, troubleshooting, server maintenance, installations, and enterprise management. She is a member, volunteer, and speaker in PASS, and PASS Women in Technology. She has presented at multiple technology conferences, including SQL Saturday, SQL Bits, and the PASS Summit. She is a vocal advocate of the Oxford comma.
