Pricing will be available via the attend page from the w/c 18th September.

Great news for all our virtual participants, who get a 30% discount on the price of in-person attendance.

As ever, SQLBits Saturday (March 23rd, 2024) we’re spreading the joy of attendance, both in-person and virtually, absolutely free of charge.

At SQLBits, inclusivity is at the heart of what we do. We understand that various circumstances, whether that’s being a student, a parent, a caregiver, or anything else, might make attending financially challenging.

If you’re eager to attend SQLBits but are going to struggle to afford it, please reach out to our team at contactus@sqlbits.com. We have an annual attendance assistance fund to help in just the scenario. Your presence matters, and we’re here to make it possible for you!

Our primary method of payment is via credit card. We’ve made this choice to ensure efficiency and reduce extra administrative efforts for the team. If you would like to use invoices for your payment, we can certainly accommodate this, although please note that there will be a processing fee associated with this option.

If you have problems paying then please contact us.

To complete your payment, please use the online credit card option available on our registration platform through our website.

We accept Visa, Mastercard, and Amex. Your account and confirmation email will offer the option to download an invoice if needed. Regrettably, we do not facilitate in-person payments at the event venue or accept payments via cheque.

For a seamless experience, it’s essential to settle your registration payment in full at least 24 hours before the event’s commencement. This ensures your registration’s validity and grants you access to the event.

A quick and very important tip: Any time-sensitive discounts are tied to your payment date, not your registration date. So, to enjoy these perks, make sure to finalize your payment promptly.

Yes, we are a VAT-registered company providing services within the UK so we have to charge VAT at UK rates.

All fees are subject to UK VAT at 20%, even if you are registered for VAT within the EU, but outside of the UK.

Attending a SQLBits conference is classed as a supply of services, and the supply takes place within the UK, therefore UK VAT is chargeable for all attendees, regardless of their location.

For those adventurers spending £2500 (before VAT), we’ve got a special treat: a 5% discount, automatically applied to your total. And if your group’s expedition takes you over £5000 (before VAT), get ready to soar with a splendid 10% discount, turning your journey into a true breeze.

Please be aware, though, that only one discount can accompany you on this flight. It’s not possible to layer a group discount atop another discount code, as much as we’d love to defy gravity in that regard!

Absolutely, we’re thrilled to offer you a 5% discount!

To make it happen, simply share your user group or meetup name along with the leader’s email address with us at contactus@sqlbits.com. Once we receive this info, we’ll wing over a special discount code to your leader who can then share this code with group members.

You only need to pre-book session selections for training days, where you spend the whole day learning about a single topic in detail. These must be pre-booked at the time you register.

On general session days you can choose which session you want to go to as and when you choose. Be sure to watch out for the popular sessions as room capacity is fixed and seats are taken on a first come, first served basis.

To swap/change training day sessions, please head to your confirmation email and click the link to modify your booking.

Just a friendly heads-up: session spots are allocated on a first-come, first-served basis, so securing your spot early is a smart move. Remember, spaces might open up later (keep an eye out daily!), or you can always opt to join us virtually for the experience.

When you’re registering, feel free to cherry-pick the specific days that suit your schedule best. Mix and match to create your ideal SQLBits experience.

And don’t forget the cherry on top: Saturday is a gift from us to you! No cost is involved.

You’re absolutely welcome to book through a training provider of your choice. However, it’s important to keep in mind that this doesn’t affect the associated costs in any way. Rest assured, the pricing remains consistent regardless of the booking route you take.

Just like last year, we’re continuing to use Sessionize for our Call for Speakers in 2024. If you’re ready to share your ideas and expertise, all you need to do is follow the designated links provided on our speaker page.

But here’s the crucial pre-flight checklist: before you hit that submit button, we highly recommend reading through the Speaker Guidance. It’s a valuable resource to ensure your session submission is on point and aligns perfectly with the event.

So, buckle up, follow those links, and remember: reading the guidance is your passport to a smooth submission process. Let’s make your SQLBits journey a soaring success!

CFS is currently CLOSED!

Gathering feedback from our attendees takes a little time, usually a few weeks. But rest assured, once we have everything compiled, our top priority is to share this valuable feedback with our speakers.

General bits and bobs!

Yes, once again we will be presenting SQLBits as a hybrid event. Further details on our streaming platform will be available closer to the event. Hybrid event attendees receive a 30% discount on in-person attendance.

If you decide to switch from in-person attendance to virtual participation (or vice versa), log a ticket with our trusty helpdesk at contactus@sqlbits.com, and we’ll make the transition smooth.

Now, let’s talk about the financial side: if you make the switch more than 30 days before the event, you’ll be in for a refund of the difference. Our refund policy has all the nitty-gritty details if you’re curious.

And here’s an extra perk for in-person adventurers: when you register for in-person attendance, you automatically score virtual access too! So, you have the power to mix and match – attend some days in-person and others virtually, all based on what suits your schedule best.

Our world-renowned party is back in action on Friday night, promising an unforgettable experience, and that’s not all – our classic tradition of a curry feast and a pub quiz is locked in for Thursday night plus the return of Board Game Night on Wednesday.

Now, here’s the exciting twist: our event in 2024 is sporting a spectacular Aviation theme. We’d love for you to join in on the magic by dressing up accordingly. It’s a chance to let your imagination take flight!

Plus, don’t forget, you’re welcome to bring along your family and friends. The more, the merrier!

Absolutely! Whether you’re vegetarian, vegan, need gluten-free options, or have similar requests, you can make those specifications during the registration process.

We’re committed to making your dining experience as enjoyable as possible. While we’ll collaborate with the venue to try and fulfil your requirements, please understand that there might be limitations.

To ensure everything is perfectly arranged, please make sure to provide these special requests during your registration. It’s a great idea to do this at least 7 days before the event kicks off. This gives us ample time to ensure your meals align with your preferences.

Regrettably, we’re unable to generate certificates of attendance since we don’t maintain a record of your specific session attendance throughout the event. Our focus is on delivering an exceptional experience for all attendees.

Rest assured, your well-being is at the core of our concerns. We’re continually monitoring and evaluating government guidance and regulations. Additionally, we’re diligently adhering to the protocols set by our venue to ensure a safe environment for everyone.

Your health, comfort, and safety have been and will remain our topmost priority. If you have any questions or if there’s anything specific you’d like to know, please don’t hesitate to reach out. We’re committed to making sure your SQLBits experience is both enriching and secure.

By visiting our Accessibility page here. If we’ve missed anything, we’re sorry, let us know by emailing us and we’ll learn from this and add it to the pre-information available.
