Be more responsible around AI - Less Bias, More Ethics

This session is focused on the importance of ethical considerations in the development and deployment of artificial intelligence (AI) systems. I will highlight the potential risks associated with AI that come with ethical considerations as well as bias in models and processes using real life examples, showing how we are subject to potentially irresponsible AI solutions on a day by day basis. We will explore the role of ethics in shaping AI development, including the importance of transparency, accountability, and stakeholder involvement and also take a look at different types of bias including their origins. The session will emphasize the importance of responsible and ethical AI in ensuring that these systems are developed and deployed in a manner that aligns with social values. By the end of the session, attendees will have a better understanding of the importance of ethics in AI and the strategies for promoting responsible and ethical AI development.
