Focusing on the why - Power BI User Journeys
In this session, I'm going to share with you all my secrets about defining user journeys in Power BI. By understanding the journey your users will take when they open the report, the first place they will look at, the first click, and so on, you can build data products that will delight your end users, answer their business questions, and provide the insights they need.
Very often, I have customers who are looking for someone who can help them "tell a story" with their data. They don't want just reports, they want to incorporate data storytelling into their solutions. However, this is often easier said than done.
As I was trying to find the best method to make sure all my reports have great user experience and incorporate that data storytelling element, I came up with a concept, often used in UX applied to web development, called user journeys.
