Stats Maintenance in Synapse SQL Pools

SQL Pools now support auto create status. But they do not support auto update stats and don’t quite have the same level of DMVs to analyse stats as traditional SQL Server. This session explores what can go wrong with statistics in SQL pools and how to review and do regular pro -active maintenance. Included is a free opensource framework for stats maintenance using Industry Best Practise.
