Data storytelling is a powerful technique for visually presenting data to a variety of audiences, and creating an emotional engaged response. However, it is a time consuming process, and one that can easily be misused. In this session, we will look at data storytelling in a holistic manner, identifying scenarios when it is the correct approach as well as those in which a different approach would provide the same value. Storytelling is also a powerful ally when seeking investment from end users versus simply providing them with the cold hard facts. By attending this session you will gain the insight and methodology to know which approach to use
