A tale of two stories

Data storytelling is a powerful technique for visually presenting data to a variety of audiences, and creating an emotional engaged response. However, it is a time consuming process, and one that can easily be misused. In this session, we will look at data storytelling in a holistic manner, identifying scenarios when it is the correct approach as well as those in which a different approach would provide the same value. Storytelling is also a powerful ally when seeking investment from end users versus simply providing them with the cold hard facts.
