- 37 different countries represented amongst the line up with the most submissions coming in from the UK, followed fairly closely by the USA.
- The furthest submitting speaker is based in New Zealand, with a whopping 11805 miles to travel to the ExCel.
- MVPs are out in force with 116 of them submitting in this year’s process.
- The 50 minute sessions continue to be the most popular with 884 of them submitted, followed by 160 x 100 minute sessions, 138 x 20 minute sessions and 11 x 5 minute lightning talks!
- 990 sessions were proposed to be delivered by a single speaker and 203 had multiple speakers – but what’s your preference to attend!?
- There’s nothing like doing things last minute – 246 submissions came in on the final day!

The team are now busy assessing, ranking and finalising the submissions with the aim of releasing the full SQLBits agenda in March; stay tuned for more details!
