Ageing gracefully through tech
Dealing with ageism and finding our rightful place in tech world is a big challenge for many older people. This talk attempts to address some issue around ageism and how to remain a worthy and important tech person as we get older.
Ageism is a common problem in tech industry. As we get older, we have to work with many people younger than us by decades, have a lot more time and energy to devote to their jobs than we do, and learn new skills at lightning speed. it is easy to feel left out and often times wonder about our place in this world. This talk will address how to navigate this problem gracefully and find a place for ourselves as we age.
