Always held on the Thursday night of SQLBits, the Pub Quiz and Curry Night is a firm favourite and a great opportunity to hang out with friends old and new.

What’s a Pub Quiz?

For those unfamiliar with the UK tradition, a pub quiz is an entertaining social event held in a pub or bar where participants form teams to answer a series of diverse questions. It’s pretty similar to hosting a trivia night. Ranging from general knowledge to niche, it’s a chance to showcase your smarts in a relaxed and sociable setting.

Answer Questions, Win Prizes

There’s a number of rounds including picture, music and general knowledge, with papers swapped and marked at the end to ensure fairness prevails! The winners will get to select prizes lovingly curated by the SQLBits team and in keeping with the event theme, as well of course, as bragging rights to being Pub Quiz Champions of that year.

There’s two choices of curry, plus all the sides to spice up the competition further. You can also quench your thirst with a selection of beverages available throughout the evening. Whether you prefer a refreshing soft drink or a spirited concoction, we’ve got you covered.
