Graphs are a powerful way to model and analyze complex and dynamic data that involve rich relationships among entities. In this talk, we will introduce the graph semantics extension to Kusto, the fast and scalable database engine that powers many Microsoft products. The graph semantics extension enables users to create and query graphs in Azure Data Explorer (ADX) using a simple and intuitive syntax that integrates seamlessly with the existing Kusto Query Language (KQL) features. We will demonstrate how users can leverage the graph semantics extension to contextualize their data, perform graph operations, and explore time-aware graphs that capture the evolution of the graph data over time.
