Using WorkloadTools to prepare for a SQL Server migration

WorkloadTools is a collection of open-source tools to capture, analyze and replay SQL Server workloads. Be it a version upgrade or a lift-and-shift to the cloud, you need to know what to expect before you move your SQL Server to a different environment. In this session I will demonstrate how to install WorkloadTools, configure it and run it to capture a workload in production. I will show you how to replay that workload against a target instance and compare the performance. No more surprises on your migration projects with WorkloadTools.
