Running SQL Server workloads on Amazon Aurora with Bablefish

Migrating SQL Server databases to a modern, cloud native database engine can be time-consuming and resource-intensive. While you can automate the database migration there is often more work to do to migrate the application itself. With Bablefish, Aurora PostgreSQL can now understand T-SQL so applications written for SQL Server can now work with Aurora with fewer code changes. This talk will focus on, and demonstrate, the core concepts about how Bablefish for Aurora PostgreSQL can be used to deliver cost-effective migrations faster, and with lower risk.
