In this talk we look at how we can stream data from SQL Server to the de facto standard for streaming: Apache Kafka.
In today's world it is not enough to be able to query data at rest. No, to be competitive we need to handle the data in real-time and treat the data as events!
In this session we look at how we can stream data from SQL Server to the de facto standard for streaming: Apache Kafka. We look at tools like Kafka Connect, and external languages, and after the session we should have a good understanding in various ways we can "set the data free".
