Tabular Automation With TMSL and PowerShell

This session will explore the Tabular Model Scripting Language (TMSL); how TMSL can be used with PowerShell to automate the creation and deployment of an Analysis Services Tabular Model.
Since SQL Server 2016, SSAS Tabular has included Tabular Model Scripting Language (TMSL). This allows to define objects in the Analysis Services model. Instead of taking days or weeks to create a tabular model, with TMSL and PowerShell it is now possible to create a tabular model in seconds.

In this session we'll go through the component parts of TMSL; the PowerShell cmdlets; and a practical demonstration of TMSL and PowerShell working together to create and deploy a tabular model.
