Designing for Accessibility

This session will cover all the tools available within Power BI Desktop that can allow us to build accessible dashboards for all end-users.
Without using an inclusive design process, we limit the end user experience and reduce how many users we can reach. We must keep accessibility at the forefront of any we tools create to allow fair and equal access. Creating reports that meet just compliancy is a minimum goal but beyond that we should be thinking of how to create the best experience for all users of all abilities.

This session will cover all the tools available within Power BI that can allow us to:
- Design dashboards for accessibility
- Consume Power BI reports using accessibility features
- Create reports in Power BI using accessibility tools
- Use keyboard shortcuts available in Power BI Desktop
- Have a report accessibility checklist

I am a Cloud Solution Architect at Microsoft specialising in Power BI and inclusive design is at the core of my role. With simple steps we can empower all end users to utilise and innovate using data-driven decision making.
