This session will describe the architecture for a metadata driven, minimalistic Azure data platform using Synapse Analytics (serverless SQL) and data lake. You will get to know when this works well, and when it does not.
In this session I will describe a metadata driven, azure data platform using the serverless SQL feature of Synapse Analytics and data lake. The platform I present is ideal for smaller companies, that can leverage a centralized architecture for their analytical needs. I will go through the concepts, architecture drawings and physical representation. I will explain how this can be used, when it is suitable, and when it is not suitable.
