Code Club Experience

Ever wondered what it takes to run a code club for young people? Join us for an interactive session where you'll experience a real code club session firsthand, led by people who run code clubs themselves.

In this hands-on experience, you can take your pick of a few Code Club activities, while our hosts share insights into how sessions are structured, what programs and resources they use, and the practicalities of running a club. You will have the opportunity to ask questions about starting your own club or volunteering with an existing one, and discover that the barrier to entry is lower than you might think.

The aim of this session will be to give you a hands on experience of what a code club session looks like, and to show you that you don't need to be a coding expert to run a club. You'll see how the resources provided by Code Club make it easy for anyone to facilitate engaging and educational sessions for children, regardless of your own coding background.
