The first time you open the Azure portal, there are so many new icon and services that it can be a bit overwhelming. If you are just starting out with Azure, this session is for you.
In this session we'll take a guided tour of the Azure services that are of most interest to data professionals, looking at the intended uses and comparing to the equivalent on premises technologies. We'll talk about some of the limitations you might meet, and what things to look out for if there seems to be more than one tool to fit your use case.
By the end of the session, you'll hopefully know what options you have to complete your next project in Azure.
