In this session, Brad McGehee, Red Gate’s Director of DBA Education, will share his experience of monitoring SQLServerCentral.com’s server performance over the last few months. Brad will explain which problems he came across, how he found them, and how they were fixed. Following this presentation, Brian Harris will demonstrate SQL Monitor, Red Gate’s performance monitoring and alerting tool that was used to monitor the performance of SQLServerCentral.com’s servers. Those who attend the session will receive a copy of SQL Server Statistics by Holger Schmeling.
