We’re excited to bring you full details of the SQLBits 2025 menu, freshly prepared on site each day by the ExCel’s expert in house catering team.

Wednesday

Breakfast

  • Breakfast baps in brioche bun (choice of bacon or sausage and vegan sausage served with ketchup and brown sauce)
  • Individual coconut yoghurt pots with fruit puree

Lunch

  • Larchwood Farm chicken with ras el hanout, dried apricot, lemon and peppermint salsa, and couscous
  • Four British cheese mac with Cobble Lane chorizo, red onion jam, thyme-roasted crumb, and parsley
  • Cannellini and kidney bean chilli with dark chocolate, coriander rice, and salted chilli corn (VE, NGCI)
  • Roasted cauliflower panzanella with cauliflower leaf, toasted omega seeds, oven-baked ciabatta, and pickled sultanas (VE, NGCI)
  • Dark chocolate mousse with chocolate crunch and candied cocoa nibs (VE, NGCI)

Please note – we are not serving dinner on Wednesday but there are plenty of options nearby in the ExCel.

Thursday

  • Breakfast baps in brioche bun (choice of bacon or sausage and vegan sausage served with ketchup and brown sauce)
  • Individual coconut yoghurt pots with fruit puree

Lunch

  • Sage, pepper & nutmeg spiced sausage with creamed Maris Piper potatoes, crispy onion crumb, herb roasted breadcrumbs, and caramelised red onion gravy
  • Poached chicken with tarragon cream sauce, mashed potato, leeks, and shallot (NGCI)
  • Essex Beet goulash with paprika, haricot beans, tomato, sour cream, dill, and pickled cucumber (VE, NGCI)
  • Toasted quinoa with young spinach, griddled artichoke, smoked cucumber, citrus cold press, and chilli (VE)
  • Lemon posset with raspberry, crushed shortbread, and citrus zest (VE, NGCI)

Dinner
