It’s well known that SQLBits is one of the year’s best opportunities for those working in the data industry to ask questions of industry experts, deep dive into real world challenges, and knowledge share with peers. But did you know you can attend absolutely free?
Alongside being one of the best learning and networking events of the year, SQLBits is also one of the most community minded. Run by a committee of industry experts; featuring an agenda selected from community submissions; delivered with the help of our famous orange shirt clad volunteers; the desire of the community to build each other up, accommodate a full variety of learning styles and help everyone succeed in their roles is apparent in every moment spent at SQLBits.

One completely unique feature of SQLBits is the commitment of the organisers to offering a free day on the Saturday, in order to enable those who can’t get the budget or time off to attend the paid days earlier in the week. The quality and variety of sessions and speakers remains the same as earlier in the week, the exhibition hall is open for business, breakfast, lunch and snacks are included, there’s SQLBits goodie bags for all, and the customary prize draw at the final break of the day sees an opportunity to win big as sponsors give away their final prizes of the conference.
Whilst providing this day does incur significant costs, organisers remain firmly committed to providing free access to world class learning for the data community. This is further evidenced in the free release of all sessions on SQLBits’ YouTube channel after each year’s event.

Registration for SQLBits’ 2025 Free Saturday is open and will remain available for booking up until the day beforehand. The agenda for the day can be viewed here.
