The news is out that we’re returning to the ICC Wales for SQLBits 2026. For those who haven’t been before, let us tell you why you’re going to love this venue:
No 1: Complete venue takeover
Unlike some of the other locations we host SQLBits at, at the ICC we take over the full 5,000 person capacity building. That means a lot of space to spread out, take a breath, find a corner for conversations with connections new and old and immerse yourself in a world of all things data for the week.

No 2: Gorgeous location
The ICC is surrounded by 20 acres of Welsh woodland with session rooms bathed in natural light and featuring stunning views. There are outdoor spaces to explore as well as a wealth of beautiful countryside a little further afield, easily accessible by road, rail and public transport.

No 3: Great food
The ICC’s focus on locally sourced produce gained lots of fabulous feedback in 2023, including tea from Welsh Brew, honey from Welsh Honeykeep, salt from award-winning Halen Môn, and meats from Douglas Willis. Prepared on site by the ICC’s expert team, meals included Welsh maple cured bacon rolls, gourmet Welsh lamb burgers and egg custard tarts at afternoon tea.
