DP-700 in a Day: Get Ready for Fabric Data Engineer Associate Certification

Description

❓Are you looking to advance your career by taking the DP-700 exam to become a certified Microsoft Fabric Data Engineer (DP-700)?

This full-day session will provide a comprehensive overview of data engineering on the Fabric platform, AND you will learn exactly what it takes to pass the DP-700 certification exam.

Overview

You will learn through a tried-and-tested recipe of concept learning, hands-on labs & practice exam questions to solidify your knowledge.

The instructor, Will Needham, teaches Microsoft Fabric full-time, and has helped thousands of people to achieve Fabric certification (DP-600 and DP-700) through his YouTube channel (Learn Microsoft Fabric with Will) and Fabric training community (Fabric Dojo).

This session will include exclusive content, not seen anywhere else before, AND it will align with the new DP-700 study guide (after April 21st 2025). See you there!

Throughout the day, we will explore each section of the DP-700 study guide, including:

✅Solid foundations in Fabric Data Engineering
✅Architecting & setting-up engineering solutions in Microsoft Fabric
✅Ingesting & accessing data in Microsoft Fabric
✅Transforming & modelling data with T-SQL, in the Data Warehouse
✅Loading & transforming data with Spark, in the Lakehouse
✅Real-time/ streaming & KQL
✅Practice Questions & Exam Top Tips

Learning Objectives

By the end of this session, attendees will: ✅ Have a solid understanding of how to design, build and maintain data engineering solutions in Microsoft Fabric ✅ Know exactly what it takes to pass the DP-700 exam, and you will have a clear understanding of your own level of knowledge, including areas you need to work on before the exam ✅ BONUS: You will also be given extensive DP-700 Study Notes that you can take away and use for your revision.

Things I will need

To get the most out of the session, it would be beneficial if you already have a basic level of knowledge in: Microsoft Fabric, data engineering, T-SQL & Python. But if you’re new to any of these, you will be guided towards useful resources for rapid upskilling, that you can investigate after the session. If you want to follow along with the hands-on labs, you will need access to a Fabric capacity (or Fabric trial). If you don’t have access, some options will be presented at the beginning of the session.
