Following straight on from Welcome Drinks, end your first day at SQLBits with your favourite board game, presented by the brilliant Cards or Die. Dive into our huge collection of games, ranging from mind-boggling to brain-challenging. There’s something for everyone to enjoy, whether you’re making new friends or relishing the fun with old ones. We’ll be serving food and the bar will be open.
Evening Event – Exhibition Hall
Join new and old friends to make up teams of 10 or less to answer questions, win prizes, and, of course, enjoy a curry. There’s a number of rounds including picture, music and general knowledge, with papers swapped and marked at the end to ensure fairness prevails! The winners will get to select prizes lovingly curated by the SQLBits team and in keeping with the event theme, as well of course, as bragging rights to being Pub Quiz Champions of that year.
Evening Event – The ICC Wales
With interactive games, street food, fancy dress (costume party to our friends across the pond), and of course the bar, this is always a great way to make new friends and spend down time with your colleagues.
Daytime event
It’s a SQLBits tradition that on Thursday to Saturday after the last session of the day, we gather for a prize giving; this includes a winner drawn at random from all feedback received that day, and the daily winners of competitions run on our sponsors’ stands. If your name comes out and you’re not there, we redraw, so make sure to be there for this!
