DBAs, developers or analysts are often asked to get involved in the process of designing and implementing a data strategy where there is no dedicated BI resource. Data modelling doesn't sound too difficult but it is something you can struggle with in the beginning. In this session we will talk through the process of gathering user requirements to provide a good starting point for your data model. We will use the Sun Modelling technique to aid us in this.
