SQL Tips, Tricks and Misconceptions
In this session we'll take a look at some nice bits of TSQL coding to resolve troublesome coding problems. We'll also look into writing code to make use of some TSQL features that are under used in daily coding.
This session will cover a range of SQL coding and approaches to various problems faced by anyone writing complex TSQL every day. We'll look at using some under appreciated features and syntax and also some alternate approaches to solving various problems such as unpivoting data and also working with dates.
Finally we'll examine some misconceptions around TSQL & SQL server and look at how they came about and the best way around them
