SQL Azure: Ten things every decision maker should know

SQL Azure: what is it and why should you care about it? What
can it do for you and when you should consider using it? Here are ten good
reasons why, in certain cases, it may be the way to go. In this quick talk I
will cover what types of databases could make use of SQL Azure and dispel some
common misconceptions around it.

Highly available by default and geographically dispersed, there are numerous scenarios when you could make use of SQL Azure, either with Windows SQL Database or SQL Azure VMs. The cloud is here, so far better to know how you could use it than to ignore it!
