Crouching SQL Hidden GUI
Server Core provides a low-maintenance highly available server platform of choice for mission critical SQL 2012 Server installations and now with Windows 2012, the paradigm has shifted even further with the ability to transition in and out of Full and Core based Windows without even reinstalling the Operating System!
In this exciting presentation we will take a look at real world Server Core use cases as a platform for installing SQL Server architectures, and focus on setting up, administrating and troubleshooting these situations using an array of techniques and tools.
In particular, we will take a long look and demonstrate implementing AlwaysOn technologies on Windows 2012 Server Core and explain much of the new functionality that Windows 2012 Server Core brings.

Mark Broadbent is a SQL Server specialist with extensive experience working with numerous HADR and upgrade solutions and in 2011 was awarded Microsoft's Community Contributor award and in 2012 received the PASS Outstanding Volunteer award.
