What Administrators Need to Know about Power BI

This session describes the role and capabilities of the Power BI administrator. It focuses on the tasks, processes and monitoring made available by the Power BI for Office 365 Admin Center.
Topics include how to provision a Power BI tenant and setup a Power BI site, how to install a Data Management Gateway to enable secure access to on-premises data, and then how to publish data from on-premises data sources as OData Feeds and to enable workbook data model refreshes. It will also cover how to manage permissions with roles, and how to monitor resource usage and system health.
This session is mostly relevant for Power BI administrators to understand the Power BI feature set and how to enable and support Power BI solutions. It is also relevant for Power BI business analysts to understand what can be achieved with a Power BI site.
