Licensing SQL Server-The Elephant in the Room
Sessions at SQL Bits deal with interesting and exciting features, innovations and real world experiences, but none deal with an area unfortunately relevant to us all - licensing. SQL Server licensing is complex and a clear understanding is vital to managers, architects, consultants, DBAs and even developers. Join us and we will walk you through the critical areas of ensuring licensing compliance, CPU core licensing changes with 2012+, Software Assurance, Edition impact, HA/DR solutions and virtualisation. We will also provide real-world examples of customer licensing challenges and solutions.
