Reporting Services with a difference
In my current role we had a need to manage reports where records had to stay on the reports but be clearly labeled as having been checked. Using stored procedures with inserts and updates we used reporting services to manage the whole process without having to add any screens to the application. In this session I will show the issues faced with the project and how I fulfilled the requirements.
I have been working with SQL Server for 15 years formerly as a Developer and now as a DBA. Starting work with a London City based Law firm in 2000, then moving to Cornwall and working for Local Authority in a part Developer part Managerial role. Since Jan 2011 I moved back to a SQL Developer role and iin 2015 moved to a DBA role at University of Exeter. When not working with SQL I assist my husband, Jonathan, with the running of SQLSouthWest, the Cornwall/Devon SQL User Group based in Exeter and I ride my horse in many show jumping competitions.
