He has worked with data for all his career and worked with companies across all industry sectors including online retail, insurance, finance, motor sport.

He works with companies to help them

1. Improve their data development practices including implementation of devops, agile methodologies and continuous integration.

2. Understand and define a cloud data platform strategy.

3. Optimise their data platform, including performance, scalability, security and certification

Education of people is at the heart of what Simon and his company sabin.io stand for. it is epitomised by SQLBits, which Simon founded in 2007. Its the largest SQL Server conference outside of Europe and many view as the best in the world, always maintaining a free element and ensuring education for everyone.

He is also a SQL Microsoft Certified Master and has been Microsoft MVP since 2005

James Rowland-Jones is a Principal Program Manager for Microsoft. He is passionate about delivering highly scalable solutions that are creative, simple and elegant in their design. James specializes in big data warehouse solutions such as Microsoft Analytics Platform System (APS), Azure SQL Data Warehouse. Hadoop ecosystems. James is a keen advocate for the SQL Server community; both internationally and in the UK. He has previously served on the Board of Directors for PASS and helped organise SQLBits. James was awarded Microsoft’s MVP accreditation from 2008 - 2015 for his services to the community.

Chris Testa-O'Neill

Chris Testa-O'Neill is the founder and Principal Consultant at Claribi. An experienced professional with over 15 years’ experience of architecting, designing and implementing Microsoft SQL Server data and business intelligence projects at an enterprise scale. He has significant experience of leading and mentoring both business and technical project stakeholders in maximising investment in SQL Server and more recently in Azure solutions. A regular and respected speaker on the international SQL Server conference circuit, and an organiser of national SQL Server conferences and events, Chris has been recognised as a Microsoft Most Valuable Professional (MVP) by Microsoft. and has been a Microsoft Certified Trainer (MCT) for the last 14 years having both authored and delivered Microsoft Official Courses.

I have been working with SQL Server for 15 years formerly as a Developer and now as a DBA.  Starting work with a London City based Law firm in 2000, then moving to Cornwall and working for Local Authority in a part Developer part Managerial role.  Since Jan 2011 I moved back to a SQL Developer role and iin 2015 moved to a DBA role at University of Exeter.  When not working with SQL I assist my husband, Jonathan, with the running of SQLSouthWest, the Cornwall/Devon SQL User Group based in Exeter and I ride my horse in many show jumping competitions.

Jonathan Allen

Jonathan has been working with SQL Server since 1999. He enjoys performance tuning, development and using SQL Server to provide appropriate business solutions.
