Building Great Models for Crescent
SQL Server Code Name Denali Reporting Services will include Project Crescent for visualizing, interacting with and presenting data. Project Crescent uses a SQL Server Code Name Denali Analysis Services Tabular project as a source. In this session we will show you how to tune your Tabular model for the best Crescent end user experience. We will explore working with Crescent using demos to delve into the interaction between Crescent and the tabular model. In these demos, we will start with a simple model, then gradually evolve and tune the model, create DAX calculations that will surfaced in Crescent, and then secure the model using Row level security.
