How accurate are your query results? Think again...

You write a query. You test it thoroughly. It returns the expected results. QA tests it even more thoroughly and it passes with flying colors. You are happy, everyone's happy. it goes live. It works great. Until one day the most unexpected thing happens... Murphy's law will make sure it happens at the most inappropriate time and place. I've personally witnessed cases where such issues came close to life and death scenarios. It can't get any more critical than that.
In this session we will deep dive into common scenarios that may cause your query to return unexpected results, and not because of SQL Server bugs. There are many intricate issues that have to do with isolation levels, transactions, querying techniques, indexes, access methods and many others that most developers are simply unaware of, and I don't mean just NOLOCK hint.
We will analyze the potential causes of these issues, and of course, provide you with tips on how to detect and avoid them.
This could literally mean the difference between life and death.
